Bug #2159
Configuration: Browser scrolls back to top when trying to map service to channel
0%
Description
Hello,
I'm running HTS Tvheadend 3.4.28~geb79aee~trusty from the tvheadend repo.
Whenever I try to scroll down in the list of services to map a service to a channel manually, the moment I stop scrolling to select a channel the browser scrolls back to the top.
I tested this in Firefox w/ and w/o plugins, Safari and Chrome. Always the same. Basically it's impossible for me to map a service at the moment.

Have ticked out the tickbox on the bottom of the GUI that says "Auto-update"?
I had the same problem until I realised the lists were auto-updating causing the to scroll up to the top of the list automatically. As soon as I disabled "auto-update" problem was gone.

3.4 does NOT have that option

Turns out:
After keeping the tab open in the browser for a longer time it just started working. As far as I'm able to reproduce this the browser only scrolls back to the top over and over again as long as the page didn't finish loading.
What's a bit weird is the fact that I can see the last available service at the bottom when scrolling down. So the data should have been loaded already but the browser still scrolls up again. Now after having the tab open for ~ 2 hours it works.
Waiting up to two hours to map the services is a workaround so far, but it would be nice if it could work ootb and instantly again
