Help configuring channels/muxes
Added by Anonymous about 11 years ago
This is my first time using this program and like the possibilities and an excited to use it, but I am having some issues.
First off my setup: Raspberry pi, running newest stable build, with a TV Wonder 600 usb. (I have put the appropriate firmware in etc/firmware and seems like it is using it)
I enabled tvheadend and am using the webgui for all that I am trying.
If I go to Configuration, and choose DVB inputs, I choose my adapter, then add DVB Network by location. I choose US_ATSC_center_frequencies and it picks up 28 services (which is about right). However I cannot map services to channels, and the multiplexes and services have no data, although I can hit play and the tv shows seem to work.
Can anyone help me out?

Same here. Should it look different? I can see all the channel names and assign numbers in "channel /EPG".

I have the same problem. I am using an x86 HTPC with Openelec. I get 51 services again which is most or less correct. However channels are not mapped. I have tried to manually enter channel name however that name will not show up in XBMC nor will it persist across a reboot.

Well I have part of my problem solved. It appears the TVHeadEnd version 3.4 is completely broken as fas as ATSC and HDHomerunner is concerned. I found a posting where some people had luck going to a previous version of TVHeadEnd. I installed version 3.2.18~g40a8920 and now it looks like all of the channels are loading and configuring correctly.
Now I need to proceed to get the EPG working.

So they map correctly now?
How did you revert to the prev version?

Yes I had to manually map the channels to guide items. Once I did that the EPG came up correctly.
In order to revert to a previously version of TVHeadEnd, I uninstalled the existing one via XBMC. I then used ssh to delete the add_on data folder for TVHeadEnd. I then got a copy of the previous release from:
