Reload recordings

I have recently rebuilt my server and reinstalled tvheadend. Is there a way to reload the recordings that were previously recorded. I am saving to the same path and the new files are being recorded alongside. Is there a way to get them back into tvheadends GUI and also into XBMC?

I am very interested in a solution as well. Is there maybe a file which keeps track of recordings in xml which can be edited manually?

There must be something ;-)
