Added by Tobias Thiel almost 12 years ago
Hi everybody,
i got some trouble about running an Pinnacle Hybrid Pro USB Stick 340e on my Pi.
I already did installed the suitable Firmware from: http://patchwork.linuxtv.org/patch/6816/mbox/
If i remove the USB-Stick and re-plug it i can see the device seems to be detected properly.
Also running lsusb everything seems to work:
pi@raspberrypi ~/tvheadend $ lsusb
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 0424:9512 Standard Microsystems Corp.
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0424:ec00 Standard Microsystems Corp.
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 2304:023d Pinnacle Systems, Inc. PCTV 340e
I downloaded and installed the latest version via github. If i start tvheadend i can't choice my device because it is not visible under TV Adapters. So what can i do? Any suggestions?
Or has someone an idea maybe you could give me an good adivce which DVB-T Device will work properly with raspbian and tvheadend?
Thanks!
Best regards
Teyhouse
//Edit:
maybe there is a last chance: I found the following on my dmesg:
[ 6.093064] dvb-usb: found a 'Pinnacle PCTV 340e HD Pro USB Stick' in cold state, will try to load a firmware
[ 6.631956] dvb-usb: did not find the firmware file. (dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw) Please see linux/Documentation/dvb/ for more details on firmware-problems. (-2)
I installed dvb-usb-dib0700-1.20.fw and now my device is visible in tvheadend. But if i am going to add some TV-Sources the whole system crash. Do you have any idea about this?
