Tvheadend

tvheadend is such a great tool that I am wondering whether someone is beside XBMC "just" using the tvheadend web-frontend (:9981).
That one is great on eg all the EPG information available but in order to increase the WAF I am looking for a more advanced EPG using all the tvheadend functionality.
So did one work on some theming, skinning, recoding?
Would be great to share the experience!
