what tv tuner external dvb-c via usb do you recommend for tvheadend? name and model please

I have had good experience with a tuner from Hauppauge (DVB-S2 though), the Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD seems like a good product, but I haven't used it personally. If you don't care about quality, you can go as low as 30€.

before you purchase any tuner you should start with - what tuners can be used in linux environment: https://www.linuxtv.org/wiki/index.php/DVB-C_USB_Devices
I personally used:
XBox tuner (Europe type) --> you need to extract and copy some FW file to make it work.
WinTv 930C --> works out of the box.

Recommend the second (if you are a beginner); if you are comfortable in linux, both should work.
