TVHeadend-what do you use as a frontend/client
Added by Jonas Lang about 1 year ago
Just curious to know what fellow users here use as a front/client for TVH. It would be useful to gather a little information going forward. Shouldn’t take more than 1 minute to respond.

Sometimes Kodi (on a Fire TV). Mostly vlc (on linux). Just to watch the programmes. I use the TVH web client to manage everything.

Production: Kodi as part of a custom LibreELEC distribution on a Mini PC. Occasional admin via the WebUI.
Testing/Development: Various Ubuntu VMs, depending on the project. Mostly the WebUI, but also Kodi and a python script that I wrote to test some stuff. One old PC that gets installed with Ubuntu or LibreELEC as and when required.
I only have access to DVB-T1 and I have 2 USB tuners (Silicon Labs Si2168). I split them between production and test and move them around as needed.
