Periodic continuity errors related to "Status period"

Tvheadend 003fd92707531bdf7ad1753ab028db8748ac5ab8 (2023-06-05)
running on OpenWrt r24154 (git master from sometime last month)
running on Linksys WRT-1900AC v1 (Marvell Armada XP dual-core 1.2GHz, 256MB RAM)
and Astrometa DVB-T/T2/S/C USB tuner (R820t tuner, CXD2837ER DVB-C demod)
and an ordinary DVB-C cable TV provider.
I get very regular continuity errors in the recorded streams. The frequency of these errors matches the setting "Status period" of the DVB-C adapter. If I set it to 8000 (ms), I get continuity errors every 8s. If I set it to 2000, I get continuity errors every 2s.
Is there any way to completely disable that "Status period"?
