Freesat .. Again
Added by Mark A about 1 year ago
G'day.
I've installed the tvheadend package from synology communutity onto my NAS.
The package is 4.3~f32c7c5 and not quite sure how old that is. but is certinatly younger than 4.2.8-36~g5bdcfd8ac which runs perfectly in a VM.
It sees my TS400 Satip box, and scans away quite happily and finds all the $ky bouqets on 28E and lots of other stuff on 19E.
However it refuses to set up any of UK non sky bouquets aka Freesat from 28E
I left it over night just in case it finds something else.
I note that when it's scanning the freesat 'home' transponder. 11426.50/H it's looking for a diffrent PID (8187) to what's specified on King of Sat (8191)
It's something to do with this build as I ran it up on a desktop NAS I have and see the same issue.
I read that the PIDs etc for the transponder config, are compressed so can't have tweek to see what happens?
Thoughts?

There's a trick to getting the bouquets for freesat. When I did it recently 11426 H didn't work but the older mirror 11428 H did. You also have to "play" the mux for about 2 mins for the data, just like a freesat box.
I just checked and see these bouquet updates in the log, so it is still working here.
