HTS Tvheadend 4.3-2120~g18effa8ad docker debian 11

Pulled a new image, after having no epg.
TVH has been working fine for a long time, yesterday,no epg, verified my providers info, login is correct, the m3u/xml is fetched, but nothing in TVH, or kodi epg.
In looking at:

ls all /home/me/.config/appdata/tvheadend/epgdb.v3 -rw------ 1 me me 82 May 2 13:53 epgdb.v3

Several attempts at mapping, and cat ~/.config/appdata/tvheadend/data/citrus.xml | socat - UNIX-CONNECT:/home/me/.config/appdata/tvheadend/epggrab/xmltv.sock did not result in an epg. This provider, generally has about 300 channels, so I would expect a larger db than what is presented.
Several attempts restarting the docker, docker logs, reveal nothing erroneous, normal operation.

I enabled the external xmltv, was disabled prior.
repeated cat ~/.config/appdata/tvheadend/data/citrus.xml | socat - UNIX-CONNECT:/home/me/.config/appdata/tvheadend/epggrab/xmltv.sock, sucess!
I now have epg data presented in kodi/epg guide
Now, ls all /home/me/.config/appdata/tvheadend/epgdb.v3
results in:
-rw------
1 me me 3105578 May 2 16:05 /home/jerry/.config/appdata/tvheadend/epgdb.v3
So, what is happening, it seems it is a hit/miss as to weather or not the db gets populated?
Thanks

It’s down to whatever text editor you are using and how you have the style settings set.
