ODD Stats from one tuner?
Added by Anders Gustafsson almost 2 years ago
Sony CXD2837ER DVB-T/T2/C demodulator #2 reporting an SNR of 40dB, but a signals strength of -6dBm? I must hook up a SA on that feel tomorrow. It is DVB-T2

Verified today. The HP SA says that I have -48dBm on 509MHz and -45dBm om 530MHz. Probably a bit more as the 45 to 50ohm adapter has some loss. When I set tvh to stream from both the SI2168 says -63dBm and 29.8 dB SNR, the MN88473 says -2.9dBm and 40dB SNR so the latter is definitely reporting the wrong level.

Yes. I was just wondering. I moved the cable from the tuner to the Spectrum analyser when I measured. Not a big deal for me. I was just curious.
