UK Freesat - Channel Naming issues for last few days

Added by Rob D about 2 years ago

Hi All,

I have been using Freesat with TVHeadend for a long time and generally it has worked well. In the last few days all channels on the 11307H mux have lost their naming from the bouquet and doubled up. For example Channel 5 reports now as "2108" and others on the mux report as 21XX. Channel numbering and the EPG works still although only the first of the two channels listed (One is a duplicate) is present in the EPG. If I delete the channels and re-scan the bouquet they re-appear again, restarting TVHeadend does not help either.

Is anyone else seeing this issue?

Something similar.

The C5 stable of channels are in the process of moving from 10964H to 11307H - see https://rxtvinfo.com/2022/channel-5-satellite-transponder-change. There is a note at the bottom of that article saying that the changeover happened on Nov 15th.

I don't use bouquets and still see the services on 11307H with their SID numbers in place of the service name. I suspect the change hasn't been fully implemented or has gone wrong somehow.

Thanks for confirming. Hopefully they will fix this. BTW: My official Freesat TV does not have any issue.
