Problems using MyGica Mini DVB-(T/T2/C) USB Stick T230C Lite on Raspberry Pi 3

Added by tzippy tzippy almost 3 years ago

Hello!

I am having trouble with the MyGica "Mini DVB-(T/T2/C) USB Stick T230C Lite" and tvheadend on Raspberry Pi OS.
It is listed in the Adapters section and when using the wizard it finds 8 muxes. But during the Scan finds 0 services. And the Scan Status of the muxes is on IDLE.
My dmesg says something about invalid firmware. This is part of it:

This is the content of my firmware directory. I was under the impression I had downloaded the correct files:

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ ls /lib/firmware/*si*.fw -la
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 15827 Sep 15 2016 /lib/firmware/dvb-demod-si2168-b40-01.fw
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 155896 Dec 27 14:51 /lib/firmware/dvb-demod-si2168-d60-01.fw
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 159699 Dec 27 14:59 /lib/firmware/dvb-tuner-si2141-a10-01.fw
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 166427 Dec 27 19:41 /lib/firmware/dvb-tuner-si2158-a20-01.fw

do you have any idea what can fix this issue?

Thank you!

You could try these?
Taken from OpenElec, and have worked for me several times.

Rename the old drivers, and copy these two to your library Ie. /lib/firmware
Restart, and see if that solves your problem.
