Multiple HDHomerun devices?

Added by fap apollo over 3 years ago

Dear all!

I've got a question related to the HDHomerun and TVHeadend:

I'm running TVHeadend dockerized and due that reason (as I use bridge mode), I have to manually assign the IP of the HDHomerun tuners to get them discovered by the system. However, as the config has only one slot for the IP of the HDHomerun device, I'm not able to add second one.
Pinging both devices works flawlessly, it's the reason of the bridge-network of the Docker.
Only way I managed to get both devices to get identified, is by running Docker container in "Host" mode. However, I find that forcing me to use this, is not a good option.

Are there any workarounds for this? Can I insert some kind of list of IPs to that single slot or how? Comma doesn't work, neither does semicolon.
If this is not possible, could this be added feature? I find it very odd (or let me be honest: stupid) that we are relying on autodiscovery, without any manual override that has the same abilities or can achieve the same thing as the autodiscovery.

Regards,
FAP
