Obviously a problem if you have multiple, ie:

Bus 004 Device 006: ID 046d:c044 Logitech, Inc. LX3 Optical Mouse
Bus 004 Device 005: ID 0bda:2838 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL2838 DVB-T
Bus 004 Device 004: ID 0bda:2838 Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL2838 DVB-T
Bus 004 Device 008: ID 15f4:0131 HanfTek
Bus 004 Device 003: ID 15f4:0131 HanfTek
Bus 004 Device 002: ID 8087:8001 Intel Corp.
Bus 004 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 003 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0003 Linux Foundation 3.0 root hub
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 2013:025f PCTV Systems
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0403:6001 Future Technology Devices International, Ltd FT232 USB-Serial (UART) IC
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:8009 Intel Corp.
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

I have one (horribly expensive) PCTV stick, thee pretty generic RTL2838 DVB-T and two HanfTek, Ie astrometa

In Tvheadend they show up as #0 to #4 and at least now does the last one I added appear to be #4. Is there an easy way to math the adapter number in Tvheadend to the actual stick?

in TVH selelct the stick and then expand the read-only info at the bottom:

Tfrom there just compare with your output

No offence taken. :) I have not done anything to our tvh setup for years, but have to do so now because of DVB-T2. I am also looking at an OS upgrade, because one of the new tuners I bought is not supported in my kernel.
