Locked myself out

Added by Hans X almost 4 years ago

I saw a lot of activity on my tuners. Full streams that kept coming back after manually shutting them down. So I took a look at my settings and saw that both of my users had no specific ip settings, so basically everyone was allowed. On one of the was a password, the other is the * account. I freaked out and filled at ‘ allowed networks’ these settings in: 192.168.0.0/24,127.0.0.0/24 Thinking this would only allow logins from the 192.168.x or 127.x range.

But now I cannot login anymore. My username and password is asked for. When I use the admin login I get an 403 error. Same thing happens when I use no username and password. Please help.

For other people in the same situation (or future me) I solved it by:

- Going into the Qnap with Winscp (do not forget to tick the option to show hidden files)
- go to /share/CACHEDEV1_DATA/.qpkg/TVHeadend/config (CACHEDEV1_DATA probably is changing between devices)
- open the accescontrol folder
- open the numbered files and change this setting into: "prefix": "127.0.0.0/24,192.168.0.0/16",
- save
- restart TVHeadend in the Qnap interface
