Can't reset password, can't purge
Added by Clay Richard over 4 years ago
I forgot my password, so I uninstalled it with hts-tvheadend purge tvheadend to completely uninstall it, then reinstalled it. Yet, when I go to the config page, it asks for a password. So it seems that for some reason the config file won't delete. What do I do now?

Update: Not sure what happened, but when I tried to wake linux this morning it wouldn't respond (a problem I'm working on) but I got it to do a proper shutdown with the power button. But when it started, Linux had reset my original configuration! It booted into the welcome screen, my browser was reset (history and passwords gone, search back to Yahoo). Most of my apps I had added were gone (like Rufus an UNiboot) though oddly enough Zoom, the Raspian card maker and Solaris were not. HOWEVER! the Tvheadend config file is still there! It seems like Tvheadend has some how put it in a different spot than we think it is. Different than the configuration reset app thinks it is. What's the file name? I'll try searching for it.
