Tvheadend

Hi,

Currently I've been using a Windows TV server (MediaPortal).

If I wanted to switch to a LibreElec system, how easy would it be to set up TVHeadEnd on it (assuming my TV tuners are compatible)?

Also, I really need to keep access to SMB shares on this machine, so if I keep my existing Windows drives in it, will it be easy to share these files as SMB, and to configure TVHeadEnd remotely from a Windows PC through a web browser?

Sorry for the newbie questions. I've done some digging, but everything I have found assumes a bit much knowledge in the first instance.
