Continuity Errors (Dropouts) with a Digital Devices Octopus 8x DVB-C Network Tuner and tvheadend 4.2.7

About a week ago, I started getting Continuity Errors with audio and video dropouts while watching or recording with tvheadend (4.2.7, Dell Optiplex Intel i5).
It seems that if I start streaming directly from the Digital Devices tuner via my Mac and vlc, everything is working fine.
Maybe a software/hardware problem of my tuner - in combination with tvheadend?
