Tvheadend

I have been looking for an audio stream recorder to use on my Synology NAS. Someone suggested that I consider TVHeadend. I installed the Synology app but it isn't clear that TVHeadend will do what I'm looking for. Are there any instructions for using TVHeadend as an audio stream recorder?
