Out of memory: Kill process (tvheadend) or sacrifice child

Ok so I have Libreelec 9.0.1 with TvHeadend on a Pi 3b+

For a while I had issues with the server crashing and had no clue why.

I lately activated the debug logs and found this message.

Out of memory: Kill process 247 (tvheadend) score 682 or sacrifice child

Problem occured while I was watching TV, timeshift is active, no recording at that time.

I store the recording/timeshift etc on an external HDD with a powered usb hub.

Any idea on what I could try to solve this?
