have reset the password but still can't login??

Not sure what have happend but I have reset the password with

sudo dpkg-reconfigure tvheadend

I did also restart the computer but still it does not login, it say no error or anything just ask for username and password.

I do can see some of my EPG and config but not what I have recording.

I have create a * user but did try to remove it but I can't when I can't login.

Tvheadend
