Help with linux tvheadend setup

Hey gents, I setup ubuntu 18 with tvheadend bionic. I am trying putty to ssh to load in my m3u file. I cannot get past the password. I load the ip address and use root as user name but my tvheadend password does not work. Can someone tell me what the password should be? I can enter into the web and can confirm my password does work. Thoughts?

Lisa, there will be no root account so you will have to create a user and login. I add my admin user for the server to the hts group
et voilà !

I install Webmin or rather install Turnkey Linux and then i have all sorts of options to administer the box remotely, even if 'remote' is only in the back of a cupboard.
