Tvheadend

First my apologies if I have put this in the wrong place or if my explanation is clumsy. I have successfully made a playlist of my favourite TV stations using tvdeadend, a Raspberry Pi 3, a Pi TVHAT, Raspbian and VLC. I use the Raspberry Pi in two different places and linked up the tvheadend to 2 different TV transmitters. The ip address of the Raspberry Pi sometimes changes when used in the same address. How can I adapt a playlist to take account of the change in the ip address. I have tried replacing the ip address with "localhost" but this has no effect. I would like to use a quick way to modify playlists to take account of changing ip addresses. tvheadend seems to cope with the different TV transmitters (The Wrekin and Brierley Hill)
