Empty tv adapter list after upgrade
Added by Yuna Kim almost 6 years ago
I recently upgraded my tvheadend (and possibly the linux kernel), but my tv tuner (WinTV-HVR-955Q) suddenly disappeared from the tv adapter list on tvheadend as follows:
For the tv tuner drivers, I use this ppa called "b-rad/kernel+mediatree+hauppauge", and the kernel version atm is 4.15.0-43201901080420-generic. I'm no expert, but this ppa repository basically says
The PPA will be updated once a week, or immediately upon new Ubuntu kernel release.
So, it might be that I actually upgraded the linux kernel (I'm not sure about it since I just used apt), but the repository has not actually been patched to this version? Can you give some advice?

Turns out that an unsigned kernel was installed for some reason. Reverted to the older version, and the issue was resolved.
