No Video Codecs, why?

Added by hemc lorm almost 6 years ago

Iam using a freshly installed Ubuntu 18.04 bionic.
i installed the vaapi drivers.

I compiled the master version of tvheadend with this parameters:

AUTOBUILD_CONFIGURE_EXTRA="--enable-avahi --enable-zlib --enable-libav --enable-ffmpeg-static --enable-libx264 --enable-libx265 --enable-libvorbis --enable-vaapi --enable-bundle" ./Autobuild.sh -t bionic-amd64

and still i do not get any vaapi codecs listed in the streaming profiles. i only get:

webtv-h264 (WEBTV codec H264)
webtv-vp8 (WEBTV codec VP8)

How can i build the project, so the video codes for vaapi are being listed? Or do i need some other further step do import them or something? if anyone can help me i would be very happy.

I am running into the same exact issue. My hardware is an Odroid XU4.
