VPN question

Sorry, but I have another question and I hope that I am not annoying others. My hardware is a raspberry pi 3+, with Libreelec and tvheadend installed as a add-on. I want to install IPvanish (vpn). If I install IPvanish on the rsp-3 which is my server; will the vpn cover all of my clients, or will I have to install the vpn on each client that is using said server?

Sorry to be so selfish with the questions, but this is all new to me and I am learning from reading and searching..

All of your client TVH interaction on the clients will be with the server, so the only interactions with the outside world [e.g. streaming IPTV] will be via the server & thus via the VPN.

Any other stuff you do on the clients that is not using the TVH client will not use the VPN1, for example if you installed an IPTV streaming add-on on a client, it would not use the VPN.

1 Unless, of course you installed routes on the clients to go via the server [and thus its VPN].
