script.module.zap2epg help please
Added by Lisa White about 6 years ago
Hi everybody, I am on the second phase of this project and I ran into a snag. I am using osmc as my server and trying to setup script.module.zap2epg kodi version. I had sucessfully set the script up with kodi, configure and ran script. It generated the channels that I had selected. The xmltv file is in the /home/osmc/.kodi/userdata/addon_data/script.module.zap2epg folders and it saved my created channels within. I opened tvheadend and looked for the zap2epg grabber and its not within my choices. There are mutiple grabbers listed and 3 grabbers show green select check marks, inluding one that is named "external xmltv". Non of these epg sources show up when I try to edit the channel. What am I doing wrong and how can I correct it?
Thanks
Lisa

Ok, guys I could not get this to work with osmc. I think it had something to do with the way the file path was routed. I installed libreelec and everything came right up. Three problems that I see is the time being off on the guide, the information is squashed together on the guide and severe buffering. I wish this program would have worked with osmc because now I have a severe video buffering and freezing problem. Back to the drawing board
Anyone know how to change the path in the grabber module with osmc?
Thoughts?
Lisa

make sure that the (zap2epg grabber) look for bin files on zap2epg that you download ... is in the usr/bin files with the correct 755 autorisation….you should see in your grabber list after…
for me...I install a server plex….on droid XU4 with openmediavault….so far working great!!
