Ghost recordings

A little while ago I noticed a recording I didn't think I'd asked for. I figured maybe I'd pressed the wrong button by accident somewhere. I was running 4.26 then.

Today I noticed an upcoming recording. I definitely did not ask for this. The comment says "Auto recording: Created from EPG query", but there is no such autorec.

I'm currently running 4.3

Any idea how this can be happening?

I've seen a few of these recently. It happened when the broadcaster cancelled a programme because of the recent sport events, TVH kept the timer but changed the details to match the programme now in the EPG. The desired behaviour of course is to cancel the timer and try to find another instance of the wanted programme in the EPG.
