I'm running 4.26. I don't use Picons.

I have user icons specified for all my channels. I have Imagecache enabled.

I recently added a new automatic IPTV network with user icons for each channel, but noted that while some icons were OK, some channels were showing the icons for previously existing channels - no discernible pattern was evident.

So, I clicked on 'Clean image cache' and then 'Re-fetch images'.

This resulted in a change from 'all icons correct except for a few random incorrect ones' to 'all icons incorrect except for a few random good ones' 8-( WTF?

I managed to fix this mess by a rather painful process of manually updating each channel to an existing image, saving it, then updating & saving with the correct image. Updating a channel with no icon path, saving & then updating to the correct image would just result in it displaying the incorrect icon again.

So, why is 'Re-fetch images' not labelled 'Randomly assign images to channels'? And is there a less painful way to ensure the icon displayed for a channel comes for the actual path specified?
