Tvheadend

This is really frustrating, I got a good xmltv.xml file, and added vie tv_grab_file. So it is nothing to download from internet, all data is on the same machine with tvheadend server. It has only about 20 channels.
It took 24 hours for the epg to show up under epg tab.
Added few more channels to epg, I have to wait again one more day before the guide is showing up.
Same epg file in kodi and other few programs, is like instantly displaying the info.

Is this a bug in tvh?
