Tvheadend

When selecting the TV icon in the TVheadend GUI it launches the Live TV Player which I assume lets you watch the selected program.

I say assume because I always get An unknown error occurred. I read that this was because of a browser error, so, I'd like to know under what circumstances it actually works, ie which browser, which OS, which version of tvheadend and anything else which might be a factor (hardware)...
