one mux, 7 channels: 3 channels with strange continuity errors, 4 with no errors at all
Added by Gert Jansen almost 7 years ago
I am not sure this problem is caused by TVheadend.
However, I hope you can help me solve it
- RTL4, RTL5, RTL7, RTL8
- VTM, Q2, VIER
The first 4 are Dutch channels and they are decoded by my Canaal Digitaal smartcard
The other 3 are Belgian channels and they are decoded by my TV VLlaanderen smartcard.
The Dutch channels have no problems at all.
The Belgian channels regularly get strange continuity errors.

A few things are worth mentioning:
1. notice how all the timestamps for the continuity errors end in xx.xx.59 seconds. That is probably no coincidence
2. the same problems occurs on all 4 of my TVheadend machines. Different TVHeadend versions, different DVB-adapters, different Linux versions even.
3. this problems only happens on the 3 Belgian channels, not on the 4 Dutch channels
4. it also happens while I record from a Belgian and a Dutch source together. Dutch programme is perfect, Belgian programme has issues.
5. For the decryption I use 1 oscam server with 2 cards. One for the Belgian channels (TV Vlaanderen), one for the Dutch channels (Canaal Digitaal). The setup of the oscam server has not been changed in the last 6 months: not the hardware, the Oscam version or the configuration.
6. Other Belgian channels (on other muxes) have no issues (like een or Canvas)
7. There are no errors in my Oscam log
I have no idea how long this has been going on. I have had a few other problems during the last months of last year (TVheadend memory problems and crashes) which caused me to go back to a previous Linux kernel.
I am sure that I used to make perfect recordings for these channels in the past.
Anyone got any clues as to what might be going on?
