Tvheadend

Hi all
I am attempting to set up something that i am not sure is even possible so any helpful pointers would be gratefully received.
I currently have a windows dvbviewer setup which has 2 x wintv dual running pretty flawlessly. I much prefer TVH so have installed in on a pi running libreelec. I can see the 4 x dvb-c tuners listed as SAT>IP tuners but i'm really struggling to get them set up, does anyone have any documentation on how i would achieve this. I cannot find anything that might help, but again I am not sure if i am even looking for the right things.
I have tried the wintv duals in a version of libreelec and face constant continuity errors whereas they are flawless under windows so i don't think moving them to TVH would be a solution.
So, has anyone had any experience of setting anything similar up? any pointers?
