Syncing recordings between webui Myrecording_directory and /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend/dvr/log
Added by Brent Bolin about 7 years ago
Been working on an issue with NFS shares not removing files when disk usage runs out ( Bug #4713 )
Since this started tvh basically stops and things get a little wonky (technical term) with what is and what should be.
So the WebUI shows no recordings after I deleted them. But the directory where they are stored has some. And /home/hts/.hts/tvheadend/dvr/log has one bunch (another technical term)
Is there a procedure to get things fixed manually?

No answer to this? Nobody has ever dealt with orphaned recordings?
No *.ts recording file that has a log entry
No log entry for a recorded *.ts file
How or can this be rebuilt to get things synced up. What are these log files? They appear to include metadata about recordings and epg data.
What is the relationship of epgdb.v2 and log files?

The epgdb.v2 contains details of the EPG (upcoming tv guide).
The dvr/log contains details of recordings. I'm guessing the files section has gone from all those entries.
You might be lucky and have a backups directory in your .hts/tvheadend that you could use to restore.
