How to add EPG IPTV URL to backend

Hi
Im struggeling how to add a EPG to the TVheadend

I already made a Network "IPTV automatic" that is working, but where can i add the URL http://xxxxxxxxxx/guide.xml???????
Do i have to convert it to a XMLTV or ????

i have no experience in this addon

External guide data must be imported in XMLTV format. You can use a grabber application, or feed the XMLTV directly to Tvheadend via a socket. In either case, you must first configure your method of XMLTV retrieval outside of Tvheadend. After you have that configured then you can set up Tvheadend to use that info.

There are several posts on here about setting up various XMLTV sources; use the search in the upper left of the page to help direct you.
