Please support: Xbox One / Windows Universal Platform App for TVHeadend
Added by Peter Frommert over 7 years ago
Hi there,
I'm working on a Universal Platform App for TVHeadend and making great progress. I'm just 1-2 weeks away from releasing the first version to the store. I've spent about 80-100 hours now (my wife is getting angry ) and it would be great if YOU want to support the project. I've just created a Patreon Page (https://www.patreon.com/tvheadenduwp) and I would be happy if I get the first patrons.
Current features:
- Multi EPG with Pictures/Poster for Show/Movie (using OMDB Api / Bing Search - Running Costs for me)
- Set / Delete Timer for Recordings
- Show / Delete Recordings
- Live-TV Player with Zap Function (Zap time < 2 Seconds)
The App is very stable for this early stage of development.
You can find screenshots on the Patreon page (https://www.patreon.com/tvheadenduwp). You can also go to my Homepage www.ngx-studio.com if you're interested in my other projects!
Thanks,
Peter

That looks really cool Peter, have you considered joining the #hts channel on freenode?
I have a few questions for you though:
- Are you using HTSP or the http API?
- Why WUP? I personally would've used Python3 but that's me ;).
- I've removed the store from my W10 install - do you plan to offer a different install method?
- Add-ons?
It's also so nice to see people being up front about using affiliation too.

Hi,
currently I'm using the HTTP/JSON Api, just because I'm familiar with it and it works pretty good.
I'm writing UWP Apps since the release of Windows 10, it uses C# and XAML and I think it's a good language. You can't write Apps for Windows 10 / XBOX in python.
I don't think I will offer a different install method than the official one other the Windows/Xbox Store.
What do you mean with Add-Ons?
Peter
