Tvheadend stops working, hangs. Needs reboot to work. Cannot bring to life in other ways.

So I am having problems with my TBS6909 or Tvheadend.

When I start a lot of muxes, and take up nearly all of the tuners, and push it a little further, either Tvheadend or TV card goes bananas and there is no way to recover other than reboot the computer.

Now after I downgraded my tvheadend from a beta release to stable release, i am noticing that when things goes bananas, tvheadend actually stops responding. Before that, tvheadend webui continued to work but I could still not recieve any tv streams. The blame was then put on the card, but maybe since tvheadend is now becoming unresponsive, it might actually be it and not the card.

I can not visit the webui almost completely when first occurrence after a reboot of this occurs.

I kill tvheadend, I restart the services, remove .lock files, but still the same. Sometimes I get it to start and enter the webui, but then just visiting status and/or "subscribers/connections" tab makes it go all crazy and stops working again.

SO MAYBE MY ISSUES REALLY IS WITH TVHEADEND AND NOT TBS TV CARDS.

You can test whether it's the card or tvheadend by killing tvheadend & using something like w_scan to see if it's able to find a signal.

I've experienced this unresponsive behaviour with tvheadend myself with my TBS device, tvheadend would lag & take an age, turns out it was the driver polling the IR.

I'm doing 40 channel transcode with TVHeadend. I am using spawn profile. I'm running the transcode process with gpu. there is a problem 40 channels are slowing down the webinterface and TVHeadend stops working after a while. how can i solve this problem. The capacity of the pc to transcode more channels. I can not do more because TVHeAnd stopped working.
