Hi,
I am atm setting up my sat config with a diseqc multiswitch and 4 LMB's.
Setting up the card is done, setup the 4 LMB to Astra 19->0 Astra 28 ->1 Astra 23 ->2 Hotbord 13 ->3
As i was adding the LMB to the DVB networks i noticed Astra 19.2E showed Muxes:1 Muxes awaiting initial scan:1 so i added my second DVB network Astra 28.
Currently tuned to: changed immediately to Astra 23 with Muxes:89 and Muxes awaiting initial scan: starting to countdown.
My question is do I need to wait longer between adding DVB networks to let tvheadend scan the whole range of the satellite or can I just add all 4 and they will be correctly scanned anyway ?
It's just a bit confusing and may be the issue i had with the Astra 19 only showing 1 frequency.
Small update: I found the problem of the Astra 19.2 only finding 1 frequency, the file /home/<user>/tvheadend/data/dvb-scan/dvb-s/Astra 19.2E only contains 1 frequency.
I am assuming these are the files tvheadend looks at when scanning.
I renamed Astra-19.2E and Hotbird-13.0E as .backup files and replaced them with the files found in this post: https://www.lonelycoder.com/redmine/issues/1237#change-5505
A rejected [bug] but at least it contains the Astra 19.2E frequencies i am missing. ( same for updated frequencies for Hotbird 13.0E.
Second update: As i read more i get now that you use an online source to retrieve the mux information. As such the remote host has incomplete and/or outdated data and is the case of the single frequency on astra 19.2E and 5 error readings on Astra 23.5E.
I am skipping mux detection for 19.2E for now, disabled the 5 faulty frequencies on 23.5E restarted tvheadend to re-scan to see if i can get an enabled Map DVB services to channels.
cheers,
Bart

No improvement I'm afraid. But the fact that the "Muxes awaiting initial scan" stops at 5 is probably related to the last 5 log messages that mention "Front configuration failed -- Invalid argument, frequency: 140733195449032". I don't know if it is relevant, but I'm using a duo lnb from CanalDigitaal (Netherlands). I created one extra satellite config entry. Both are set to "Universal" LNB type, one for switchport 0, the other for port 1. But my guess is only one is correctly working as I only Astra 23.5 yields multiple muxes, Astra 19.2 only one.
This is the log from the console (the output in the browser is not different from earlier):
[...]Please let me know if there is anything else I can try and thanks for the help.
Hi Santema,
In the past i used the same LNB from canaaldigitaal. You have to set switchport 1 for astra 3 and switchport 2 for astra 1. I have a cineS2 miniPCI tuner.

I finally got a full scan from 4 LMB's after installing the tvheadend_3.0_i386.deb ( I needed to instal the 32 bit version as it failed to recognize my version as 64 bit which i checked it is with uname -m )
Message: error processing tvheadend_3.0_amd64.deb (--install): package architecture (amd64) does not match system (i386)
Gonna chill for tonight, tomorrows's another day.
