Tvheadend

Hi all,

I'm trying to integrate tvheadend into my Plex setup but I cannot get channels to work with either the tvplexend or tvheadend-ng plugin.
I'm using tvh v4.1-2498~gda7321 on ubuntu 16.02.04. Playback works flawlessly using the GUI and with links imported into VLC so the basic set up is fine.

Plex is v3.0.1 and I have tried both the tvplexend and tvheadend-ng plugins. Logs for both show the plugins creating objects with URLs in the following format:

http://user:[email protected]:9981/stream/channel/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx?profile=pass

The logs for TVH show this:

Apr 5 09:41:08 tvh-vm tvheadend[10338]: http: y.y.y.y: HTTP/1.1 GET //stream/channel --401

I am assuming that a 401 error indicates a problem with authentication? I have created users, assigned passwords and streaming profiles (although I'm fairly sure the plugins automatically only use "pass" from the output seen above) and input the credentials into the plugin settings.

Do any of you fine people have any recommendations for me or steps to confirm that my credentials are properly set up? I can access the webGUI remotely using all the credentials I've created and playback works with all of them so I'm fairly confused right now. I'm also new to linux and just getting my head around the permissions system so if I require educating on this concept then let me know!
