Tvheadend

I'm sure this has probably been asked a bunch but does anyone have 4.1 working on FreeBSD or FreeNAS? I'm just doing IPTV with my current 4.1 setup using m3u files. I know I can create the muxes manually in 4.0.8 but that would be a pain. If 4.1 doesn't work on FreeBSD, any way to read a .m3u file and automate creation of muxes on 4.0.8?
