No free adapter after some channel switching

I have a setup with one DVBSky S960 USB Box [1] on Tvheadend 4.0.9 and this generally works fine.

Only, after I zap around a bit, suddenly I can not watch any channel anymore. The logs show this then:

This seems to happen after I zap to a channel which can not be played back (Strangely I have a lot of services in my playlist which don't work)

I have already disabled all "idle scan" and epg options to be sure the adapter is not used by anything.

How can I get rid of "no free adapter" if the adapter visibly is free? (I am the only watcher)
