It seems tvheadend creates recordings on a smb mounted volume (Synology) with the S and H attributes. Because of the H attribute these recording are not visible on other smb clients, for example XP or XBMC.
This behaviour only occurs when selecting the following options enabled: Make subdirectories per channel: Make subdirectories per title: Include channel name in filename: Remove all unsafe characters from filename: Include date in filename: Include time in filename:
