Im seeing the above message in dmesg since last updates...

Thanks

I've seen it occur when logging in to the web interface, and not just with the latest/recent updates - its been happening for a while.
Often, it doesn't "take" the password the first time and I have to submit the password three or more times, so I just assumed that "SYN flooding" was just those multiple connection attempts and have never worried about it, but there are definitely some issues with the web login procedures.

Thanks Obv B, I have made some tests and definitely this message is just logged when you go through the web login process, however I can login at first time with no issues (http digest disabled)
