I am using TVHE Build: 4.1-2328~gca5f094~jessie
I set Kodi to manually record a single tv series from the guide.
In TVHE the recording showed up in 'Finished Recording' and status ok.
Yes the recording only lasted a couple of minutes for a 1 hour HD program, the file size was 9mb

Any ideas, why this is happening?
