TVHeadend crashes after enableing IPTV
Added by Jay Jay about 8 years ago
Hello
I'm totally new to TVHeadend and get my setup working a few days ago and find it very very good.
My setup is:
Plattform: Raspberry Pi 3
OS: Raspbian GNU/Linux 8 (jessie)
DVB-C: PCTV tripleStick DVBT2/DVBC
Cable Provider: Vodafone Germany
I can watch TV via the Ipad App, Kodi and on PC with VLC.
Now I want to use the german App "HD+ TV Guide" Because of the redactional content.
This App has a SAT>IP Interface so I want to enable it in TVHeadend.
I enabled IPTV in my Networksettings (SAT>IP Source Number: 1)
But when I enable it in Configuration > General with "RTSP Port (554 or 9983), 0 = disable: 554" and hit "Save configuration" the TVHeadend Process crashes.
After a restart the setting is still there but no port is open and the stream is not avialable.
In the system log there is only "There seems to be a problem with the live update feed from Tvheadend. Trying to reconnect..."
I don't know what I'm doing wrong or where to look to find a solution.
Is it in general possible to stream DVB-C signals as SAT>IP stream?
If not, is there an other app with Highlights, suggestions etc. for TVHeadend?
Thanks in advance

Does someone has an idea how I can solve the Problem?

You need to provide a trace (see: Traces) & open an issue. In your case you would enter "satips" (yes with an s, it means server) in both debug subsystem & trace subsystem.
If you don't see a debugging tab you'll have to install the dbg package & restart. If it crashes before you get chance, install corekeeper and dbg.
