hi all,

is it possible to use tvh transcoding on the server to be able to deinterlace the 1080i 50Hz to 1080p 50Hz ?
i would like to use 50 Hz because is makes live tv much smoother than 25 Hz deinterlaced 1080i.
without the need for dinterlacing on the client, i can reduce the hardware footprint for my clients.

i've got a 24 core 2.4 ghz server so grunt shouldn't be a problem.

but can tvh do this?
