Service type 0xC - How can I map one?
Added by James Simpson over 8 years ago
Hi,
I'm using a HDHomeRun HDHR4-2DT which is receiving SD, HD and Radio channels and I can map these without issue. Some channels are coming through and listed as service type 0xC (data broadcast service). Unfortunately TVHeadend won't map these channels (they seem to just be ignored). If I try to play them from the TVHeadend WI then nothing happens (launches into VLC).
However, if I use VLC to play them using the URL directly to the HDHR4-2DT then all plays fine. If I attempt to use ffplay on the local device, the channels also play but have the following messages...
decode_slice_header error no frame! non-existing PPS0 referenced decode_slice_header error no frame! non-existing PPS 0 referenced decode_slice_header error no frame! mmco: unref short failure reference picture missing during reorder Missing reference picture, default is 2147483647 mmco: unref short failure reference picture missing during reorder Missing reference picture, default is 65542 reference picture missing during reorder Missing reference picture, default is 65558 reference picture missing during reorder Missing reference picture, default is 65561
These continue for a little bit and then the video starts playing.
I tried to move the URL into a M3U file (I already have some Radio stations added this way). These were detected but when trying to discover the service I (unsurprisingly) see the same messages in the TVHeadend log and eventually get told there is no data.
Is there any way of mapping this type of service?
Thanks in advance
