Streaming problem using the live tv player in the gui
Added by Derek Brabrook over 8 years ago
I'm running HTS Tvheadend 4.1-2109~g189dcb6~jessie
I have 3 x dual tuners all of them WinTV-HVR-2205 all DVB-T and T2
My problem is two or more clients cannot stream the same channel on a mux, using the watch tv icon on the GUI.
You can stream any other channel but not the same channel at the same time, unless you use a different stream profile ie/ matroska or webtv ...then it will stream the same channel to both clients.
if a third client tries to stream the same channel using either of the stream profiles in use and the watch tv html5 method.....it will fail, the third client can however stream a completely different channel on either streaming profile.
Timeshifting is off
I can stream the same channel to VLC on different clients
is this a limitation on the gui ? or a bug ?

Sounds like a bug, open an issue, pick a number and take a seat =D
