HDHomeRun on Arch, TV Adapters Empty.
Added by Jim Applebaugh over 8 years ago
I'm stumped. I've installed:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/libhdhomerun/
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/hdhomerun_config_gui/
They work fine & can even use them in mythtv if I install that. But after installing TVHeadEnd from:
https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/tvheadend-git/
Nothing shows in the TV Adapters list. There's also an out dated version on AUR. What am I doing wrong?

Looking at the PKGBUILD file the build has "--disable-hdhomerun_static" in the build command, I'm not 100% sure but I believe that option needs to be enabled for hdhomerun devices to work, but I could be wrong.
I don't know anything about Arch so..

I'm brand new to arch. Good catch tho! If I had actually read the PKGBUILD file I'd have seen the
"To enable hdhomerun, add 'libhdhomerun' to depends and '--enable-hdhomerun_client' to the configure command in build()."
near the top.
DOH!LOL
Thank you!
